Rather than reprint testimonials, we would rather you read current reviews yourself on Google and the Better Business Bureau, look at how long the company has existed, and ask us for addresses of roofs we have done near you.
How to vet any roofer in Southern Illinois
- Ask how long the company has been in business under the same name — storm-chasing outfits rarely survive two spring seasons
- Ask whether the crew are employees or subcontractors, and get the answer before the contract
- Ask for the Illinois license and a certificate of insurance, and actually read the dates
- Ask what the workmanship warranty covers, in writing, separate from the shingle warranty
- Be careful with anyone who wants a large deposit up front, or who offers to cover your deductible
- Check that the phone number on the yard sign is a real, answered line

Whether a person answers at two in the morning. Whether the inspection found the real problem or the convenient one. Whether the estimate matched the invoice. Whether the yard was clean when the truck left. And whether, years later, there is still somebody to call.
